The fence industry is constantly adding new products for both commercial and residential consumers.

In 1958, Joseph O’Brien opened Universal Fence Co. in Baltimore and successfully ran the business until September, 1982. In October of 1982, his son, Craig O’Brien, and son-in-law, Anthony Topper, began operating as Fence Masters, Inc. A few years later Craig’s sister, Karen Sellars, came into the business as the office manager, and Craig’s brother in law, Bill Gay began doing commercial installations. Karen’s husband, Jody Sellars, began in the production and installation side of the business, and now, along with Tony’s son, TJ Topper, joined the estimating team ~ so as you can see, it’s a real family organization! The rest of the Fence Masters family has been there for many years, some from the beginning. Everyone continues the successful tradition of wanting to supply the Baltimore and surrounding areas with professional fence installations that Joe started over 50 years ago!

Fence Masters is dedicated to supplying only the best products and installing them properly. A successful formula has been put into place and has been working since 1958!
